About the Erie Yacht Club

The commitment the Erie Yacht Club has to the boating facilities is evident upon approaching our Presque Isle Bay destination. While passing our recently renovated lighthouse with its distinguished bright blue hip roof, where many events take place during the summer months, one can see this is a first class facility. There is even a delightfully landscaped meandering walkway running parallel to the water’s edge!

The EYC has committed to a multi-year 4.8 million dollar investment in improving docking, utility systems and roads which is almost done. We even brag about our 220 foot long guest dock offering over 1000 feet of guest mooring right in front of our clubhouse! We have lifting capabilities to 50 tons, fueling, vaccum system for pump-out, mooring for boats to 120 feet and 11 foot draft, dry sail storage, three small boat cranes capable to 4,000 lbs. and many marine services offered by our staff and qualified sub-contractors.

We offer an open and secure atmosphere with night time security guards, easy access by land to all major attractions via private transportation options, full service facilities for casual, fine dining and catering to 200 plus in our ball room(s) and a wonderful seaside lounge with plenty of open views to the third best sunset in the world!

Our Reyburn Sailing School has been offering lessons in sailing, safety at sea and racing to children and adults during the summer months. We host many local sailing regatta’s as well as international events such as the US Snipe Nationals and North American Championships, Hinman National Team Race Championship , Great Lakes Single Handed Society and the Interclub Cruise to name a few. We are now in the process of hosting the third annual Swim Across the Bay promoting clean water in Presque Isle Bay. Yes, we have it all at the Erie Yacht Club and invite you to come and tour our facility by land or by sea! Thank you for visiting our web-site.
